The team requested photos of the back and sides of the house, as well as existing cable pass-through from Spectrum. The house’s location was approximately 6500 square feet indoors, with three floors and garages at both the east and west end of the home. Currently, Spectrum cable is entering the home’s east side above the garage.

We needed the customer’s assistance with an on-site survey to run Starlink App Obstruction tests from elevated positions on the 2nd floor and possibly from the rooftops to confirm the Good Experience test results.

We guided the customer in selecting Starlink mounts and mounting options and ordered them upon the approval of their Home Owners Association (HOA).

The scope of work recommended by Pro Starlink Installers would be to professionally mount, install, and configure the Starlink Standard Installation Kit and Pivot Mount. Eventually, additional Starlink WiFi Mesh routers would be added throughout the house to extend the WiFi range.

Then our Professional Service Manager sent the detailed service quote to the customer for review, which was approved. We assisted the customer in ordering the Pivot Mount and we supplied the other misc. materials for a professional Starlink installation. The customer confirmed the arrival of the parts, and we immediately scheduled our professional Starlink Installers in Arden NC.

Pro Starlink Installers arrived on-site at the scheduled appointment time and installed the Starlink dish and pivot mount at the best, unobstructed installation point.

They routed proprietary Starlink cable from the dish to the indoor Gen3 Starlink WiFi Mesh Router. To complete the installation pass-through, use a drip loop cable installation with cable tacks, grommets, and a silicon seal and/or fire caulk.

Set up the Starlink Gen 3 Wi-Fi Mesh Router using the Starlink App. Two additional routers were strategically placed in different locations to ensure optimal Wi-Fi coverage throughout the house. This setup enhances connectivity, providing consistent and reliable internet access across multiple rooms and outdoor spaces if needed.

The Starlink Installation in Arden took 2 Additional Starlink Gen3 WiFi Mesh Routers.

Performed Starlink heat mapping to analyze the area’s Wi-Fi coverage and identify any weak signal zones. The heat mapping results visually represent coverage, highlighting strong, moderate, or weak connectivity areas.

The Starlink system has been successfully installed and connected. Establishing a full connection with the LEO (Low Earth Orbit) network may take up to 20 minutes. A Starlink Alignment test was done to ensure proper positioning and verify the absence of obstructions that could hinder connectivity.

After completing the Starlink setup and verifying all connections, a Starlink Internet speed test was conducted after one hour of installation to evaluate the network’s performance. Starlink sometimes takes approximately 12 hours to Synch.
