Our professional service managers received the service request via inbound call, immediately gathered information, and performed an initial offsite assessment. The house location was an approximately 1700-square-foot single-family home with three bedrooms.

The scope of work was to professionally mount, install, and configure the Starlink Standard Installation Kit and Pivot Mount. Replace existing grommets/cable pass-through and seal. Install Ring, LV gang brackets, and face plates to clean up hanging and loose cables inside the home. They need to close up professionally with brackets and face plates.

The Pro Starlink Installers’ service manager sent the detailed service quote, which was approved. We assisted the customer in ordering the Pivot Mount and Masonry Routing Kit. The customer confirmed the arrival of the parts, and we immediately scheduled our professional Starlink Installers near Sebastian, FL.

Starlink Installation Onsite

Our certified Starlink installer arrived promptly on-site at the scheduled appointment time to assess the optimal location for re-installing the Starlink equipment. Using the Starlink App’s Obstruction testing feature, the installer conducted multiple tests around the property to identify potential obstructions, such as trees, buildings, or other structures, that could interfere with the dish’s line of sight to the satellites.

Our professional Starlink installers analyzed various positions and determined the most suitable location that offered a clear, unobstructed sky view for improved signal reception and reliable connectivity. This meticulous process ensured the reinstallation would deliver the best possible performance for the Starlink system.

The Pivot Mount and Starlink Dish (antenna) were securely and professionally installed. This mounting method ensures the dish is firmly anchored to withstand environmental factors like wind and rain while maintaining its optimal position. Careful consideration was given to selecting the installation point to ensure the dish had an unobstructed line of sight to the sky, a critical factor for maximizing Starlink’s speed, reliability, and overall performance.

The cable from the Starlink Dish was securely routed through the walls to connect the dish to the indoor router, utilizing the Masonry Routing Kit for a professional and durable installation. Protective grommets and sealing materials from the kit were applied to prevent water infiltration, pest intrusion, or cable wear over time.

Note: The site was still under construction so the Gen3 router was left on the floor at the customer’s request.

Set up the Starlink Gen 3 WiFi Mesh Router using the Starlink App. Guided the customer on how to configure their SSID and reset their password.

Finally, Starlink is installed and connected; it may take up to 20 minutes for Starlink to fully connect to the LEO Network. Adjust the Starlink dish using the Starlink Alignment test. Using the Starlink app, the dish’s alignment was assessed by analyzing signal strength, positioning, and the absence of obstructions that could interfere with performance.

After setting up the Starlink system and ensuring all connections were established correctly, a Starlink speed test was conducted to assess the network’s performance. The test measures key metrics such as download speed, upload speed, and latency (ping) to determine the quality and efficiency of the satellite internet connection. The tech installers performed several Starlink Internet speed tests and saw how the speed improved.

The customer was impressed with the results, which met or exceeded the expected benchmarks and confirmed that the installation was successful.
