Initial Offsite Assessment

Onsite Starlink Installation

This requires an additional Starlink proprietary cable to set up an 3rd party router in the office room.

The Starlink dish was securely mounted using a pivot mount. The Starlink cable was then routed from the dish to the designated indoor location of the Gen3 WiFi mesh router. Once connected, the router was powered on, the Starlink system activated, and the network SSID and password configured. The third-party router was setup into the office room to WiFi coverage.

The Starlink system initiates connecting to the LEO (low-Earth-orbit) satellite network, which may take 20 minutes to 12 hours to fully update and synch with the Starlink LEO satellite broadband network. We provided Starlink app walkthrough with customer.

Starlink Optimization and Testing

As part of the installation process, a Starlink alignment test was conducted to ensure the dish was correctly positioned for optimal satellite signal reception.

A Starlink speed test was conducted 20 minutes after installation. It is important to note that full network optimization may take up to 12 hours. Nevertheless, the initial results demonstrated strong performance, sufficient to support work-from-home productivity tasks.
