Our customer approved our proposed Starlink installation, then we assisted the customer in ordering the Pivot Mount and we supplied the other misc. materials for a professional Starlink installation. The customer confirmed the arrival of the needed parts, and we immediately scheduled our professional Starlink Installers in Inman SC.

Pro Starlink Installers arrived on-site at the scheduled appointment time and took inventory of the Starlink Installation Kit, Pivot Mount, and other materials needed for installation.

Using the Starlink App, our Starlink installers ran Starlink Obstruction Tests to determine the best Starlink rooftop installation point. Then the Starlink dish and pivot mount were securely installed at the spot with Good Experience results from the Obstruction Tests.

Due to the very steep slope of this 5000sqft home, two technicians were required and the Starlink installation process involved ascending the on ladders and with harnesses carefully moving across the very steep roof to position the mount on the rooftop where the best Obstructions Test results were found, anchoring it firmly to withstand varying weather conditions.

Once the Starlink cable is routed, we installed the Gen3 WiFi Mesh Router and tested using the Starlink App to ensure Alignment — aligning the dish precisely for the best possible connection.

The Starlink system is fully installed and operational. Connecting to the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network may take up to 20 minutes. A Starlink alignment test was conducted to confirm accurate positioning and ensure obstructions were little no none that could interfere with connectivity.

Following the completion of the Starlink setup and verification of all connections, we would normally say that’s a successful Starlink installation service call! However, in this case, the customer has a 5000sqft home and wants to expand Starlink WiFi Range by adding additional Gen3 routers, so using the Starlink App’s Starlink WiFi Range Scanner to determine best installation points for 2 additional Starlink WiFi Mesh Routers — we will return to site to install.

The Starlink Internet speed test was performed 20 minutes after installation. It is important to note that Starlink may require up to 12 hours to fully sync with the satellite network. We will run the speed test again when we return to install the additional Starlink Gen3 routers.
